A painting, believed to be a previously unknown work by Leonardo da Vinci, surfaced at auction.

Comparing Michelangelo's Bacchus and Victory Works
Both are sculptures created by Michelangelo that deal with historical subjects. However, Victory deals with the depiction of the religious story of David and Goliath and Bacchus is the mythological representation of the god of wine. Both works also deal with key beliefs in the Renaissance.

Albrecht Durer, German Renaissance Artist
Albrecht Durer was a German Renaissance artist and printmaker. His woodcut engravings are amazing in their subject matter and complexity. Son of a goldsmith and working in the field himself gave him a skill with delicate depictions perfect for engravings and woodcuts.
